Over his notable artistic career of more than 30 years, Mr. Romo is widely recognized as the creator of memorable compositions for various advertising campaigns, especially for Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, and the Mexico Tourism Board (such as "Visit Mexico", "Mexico closer than ever", "Mexico live it to believe it”, among others). And several more for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the behest of Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahad.

 

In 2010 he composed the music for the Itinerant Monumental Museum "Mexico in your senses.” thath it was performed by the  National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, and received the "Golden Arara" at the Brazil International Tourism Film Festival as "Best Original Music”; and being finalist in the CIFFT in Vienna (Austria) in the same category. During that same year he worked on the realization of two pieces for the United Nations Institutional Welcome Videos for the "Climate Change Conference" COP16, and again in 2016 for the COP13.

In 2019, he participated as a composer and arranger of four pieces for the concert of pianist KL Joon "Symphony for Peace" in the Monument to the Revolution (Mexico City); event organized and promoted by the Korean Embassy and the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, with the interpretation of singer Barry I. White, the prestigious flutist Horacio Franco, the soprano Claudia Cota, and the cellist Karla Pineda, accompanied by the Orchestra and Choir of the Superior Institute of Music and Artistic Education (Insume) of San Luis Potosí under the baton of "il maestro" Jesús Cercero; and by the famous pre-Hispanic music and dance group Nok-Niuk. After the success of this concert, a year later Enrique Romo joins KL Joon and Claudia Cota, thus forming the Arirang Dream Team to participate in the Arirang Concour 2020 (event organized by the Korean Embassy in Mexico), where they obtained the First Place for the piece “Aires de Arirang”.

Also among his achievements is the newscast music for Monitor (conducted by José Gutiérrez Vivó) and Executive World; original music for documentaries such as "Paradigm Shift" by Intrust Global Investments (in collaboration with Harvard University), for the National Nuclear Security Administration, "The World's Last Book" by Gandhi Bookstores, and the "Odise-Om" series for the Mexico Travel Channel (to name a few). He has also worked for renowned personalities such as Raúl Anguiano, Philippe Starck, Michel Domit and Lila Downs, as well as countless prestigious international brands (BMW Group, Nissan, Chrysler, L’Oréal, BSA Business Software Alliance, Philip Morris, Coca-Cola, Bimbo Group, Quaker-PepsiCo, P & G, Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever, Novartis, Senosiain, Telcel, Modelo Group, Mattel, Liverpool, Gente-Magazine, Delta-Aeromexico, Anahuac University, etc) and institutions such as: G-20, T-20 and WTTC, Chamber of Commerce, Mexican Navy, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, National Water Commission, Government of Mexico, National Electoral Institute and National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection. He has also composed for several plays through the National Institute of Fine Arts, for theater ranging from Euripides to Tennessee Williams and Bertolt Brecht.
