Mr. Díaz graduated from Mexico City’s National Conservatory of Music where he studied composition, focusing mainly on the construction of "Baroque and Modern Musical Forms,” taugt by distinguished masters among which stand out: José Suárez, Mario Lavista and Miguel Agustín López.

Since the beginning of his musical career he has been composing and doing arrangements and adaptations for different chamber ensembles and orchestras, among which stand out: The Winds Ensemble of the City of Xalapa, The Popular Music University Orchestra of Veracruz, The Orchestra of the University of the New World of the State of Mexico (for the tour of the city of Valencia, Spain) and the Mexico National Symphony Orchestra, among several others.

In 1995, he founded the EHCO-Ensamble chamber ensemble, where he is still Musical Director, Arranger, Composer and Instrumentalist.

Over the last 15 years, and in collaboration with Enrique Romo, he has participated as Musical Director, Arranger, and Copyist in countless advertising campaigns for Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism and the Mexico Tourism Board, as well as for the Supreme Commission for Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, obtaining impressive results and a remarkable acceptance, both in Mexico and different countries of Asia, America and Europe.

Among the awards for his work stand out the "Honorable Mention" in the Second National Competition of "Popular Mexican Music in the Intimacy of Chamber Music” held in the State of Oaxaca, with the arrangement of "Tehuana" by Alfonso Esparza Oteo.
